Description

The canopy at Hoge Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. We had a suite here one night during our travels. I took this shot while Bill was inside checking out.

Oh, I just luv the angle on this and that sky is phenomenally clear too! Gorgeous lines and the light does that shimmer thing you capture so well. This rocks. Canopies, skylights, domes, thingamagigs are so much fun to phtograph: don't you think? I like this a lot.

Your kind of thingy:) I walked under this a couple of times and never remotely thought of it as a photographic subject...but through your eyes it is a superb, abstract representation and reminder of our night at Fort Leavenworth. Well done:*

Bold lines and subtle reflections. The brick adds a nice counterpoint. This is brilliant!
