Greetings To All.....
Thought I'd create a tribute this time around to one of my all time favorite cartoon artists(Charles M. Schultz)from my youth.I was creating this one particular scene and something triggered this idea and I ran with it.I'm thinking no matter where you live or grew up and if your around my age you have at least watched "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" at some point.Every year it's a tradition in my house with my 3 sons to sit down and watch these timeless classic's as we approach the Holiday season.Yes you heard right...I'm turning 49 next month and I still enjoy watching these specials as like my Grandfather had bestowed in me at a very young age that if you let the little kid inside your heart grow up then life isn't worth a plug nickle....(smiles)...So without further ado I hope this triggers the little kid that lurks inside each and everyone of us.(even if you won't admit it)it's still there...(wink)..
So here's my little tribute to one of my all time cartoon artists Charles M. Schultz as we get ever so closer to Halloween...Hope You Enjoy!!

Every generation has it's own cartoon 'style'....but Mr Schultz created a timeless classic that spans the generations and I'm sure will continue to do so. You have created an impressive tribute, worthy of the man himself. I think you'd have to have lived your entire life under a rock, not to recognise that silhouette. Excellent art, thanks for the memories..

Love everything about this!!! And I am 62 years young, still enjoy all the wonderful Disney and Pixar movies, and I saw It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown more times than I can count...Still watch all the Rankin-Bass Christmas specials. I will Never allow my mind to get so old that I forget the joys of being a child :-)

I think we've all grown up with Snoopy, so there's lot's fo nostalgia seeing this beauty! My hero, Snoopy, and I adore Linus, and Dear Sweet Lucy (giggles) is definitely a role model, ROFL. Wonderful work on this .. beautifully created!

I love this cool scene! You did a fantastic job. I so used to enjoy reading the Peanuts when I was a kid and especially enjoyed it when Snoopy went 'behind enemy lines' on an adventure or fought the accursed 'Red Baron'! 10+

Yaaaaaay Snoopy. Eighty men tried and eighty men died and they're buried together in the country side. Back in the sixties I used to call up Art Bell when he was a DJ on Okinawa and request the Royal Guardsmen song all the time. I irritated the hell out of him. And I drew Snoopy on the margins of all my school books.
