Description

Yesterday we went to Monument Rocks in Kansas. It's an amazing bit of geology ... huge chalk formations in an otherwise flat landscape.

Awesome in every detail! As much as I've wandered this country, I have never seen or heard of this place. Next time I'm in Kansas I WILL stop there.

OH MAN!!! This is KANSAS?? I'm so ashamed of myself LOL! Here I live probably within a few hours' drive of this, and I didn't even know it existed! Man, I need to get with the program! LOL! Fantastic photo, Tara! Excellent framing with the distant rocks - this looks like something out of an Indiana Jones movie. Just spectacular! Now I'm off to Google this place.... :-D
