Description

Seeing these textures and patterns in the sandstone conjures for me the image of what a Deinosuchus skin might look like. Deinosuchus, was one of the largest alligators that ever lived some 75 million years ago. So large it could snatch and eat dinosaurs the size of hadrosaurs (duck-billed dinosaurs) and Tyrannosaurus rex. A great weekend to all! Big enough to eat a T-Rex? Ok, now that I've got my nightmare for tonight racked up and ready to play let me say this is a fantastic image. I assume this is the pertified bed of an ancient lake or sea with all the little ridges and ripples. A very cool image.
