What a difference a 90 degree turn will make. This is the same stone as in the last image. I have moved counter clockwise that 90 degrees. Imagining this foreground as the embankment to some 75 million year old steamy swamp. Then using the stone as an approximate head, following back to the vegetation would be the tail. I can picture Deinosuchus basking here in the shallow waters. king of the Cretaceous swamps.
