Description

...my secret quest before 'fessing up to it now:)...is to find old rusty cars and trucks to photograph. ...yesterday I found a fine example. It was sitting in blistering light at about 10,000 feet above sea level at the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine just outside Cripple Creek, Colorado. ...after doing my due diligence and carefully researching photos of Ford trucks online, I've found this to be a 1935 model. ...I feel a lot better than this old dump truck looks but I'm not 76 yet and at least it is still here to be photographed:-) Bill "Camera In Hand" thumb_2258432.jpg

It's interesting, you "collect" old cars (wrecks). This copy, I think it's great to see. The magnificent colors of rust, and aging. How most of the black paint has changed. Really a fantastic shot it is.

That would make a wonderful "over the winter" restoration project. Super find and capture Bill.
