My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Ah, barns--you know now I feel about most of them!! But your POV makes so much more sense, even at 60 mph!!

Taken at 60mph? Perfect timing Tara! Looks like straight out of the Book of Mormon!

Simply amazing! That's the fun part about being driven somewhere...you get to read, snap photos, enjoy the scenery and not worry about idiots lurking in blind spots. What scenery! Cities offer so much, but it comes at a price and in Midwestern cities, we don't get to see stuff like this! The Midwest is so flat...I've seen bumpier pool tables! This shot really captures the vast sense of openness (and exciting ground that kinda goes upward!) Great colors too. Overall, this is a brilliant shot.
