Description

Actually this is a mannequin at the door of a shop in a Centro Commercial near my hotel in Tenerife. A great idea to draw the tourists inside, in my opinion, also because in the half light of the threshold between the strong bright light of the street and the soft shadow of the inside the girl looked alive. Thanks for your kind comments.

It doesn't look like, if this young lady had enough pennies to be able to afford, anything from 'Swarovski' ! - not everybody can - but then again who would want to? never-the-less she is a great innovation to make one take a closer look! But what I really do like, is the reflections on the sumptuous 'marble'(?) shop-floor, super viewing and postwork Sandra, BB

Great capture here Sandra, and I totally agree with you about how cool she is. This is the type of mannequin they should strive to create as you pointed out she appears so life like in many respects and is an instant draw.

She (it?) certainly fooled me! Outstanding image. Many years ago I walked into a small, dimly lit, restaurant. Except for an attractive young woman sitting at the bar, I was the only customer. After fourty-five minutes I had finished eating and got up to leave. It was only then I realized the 'woman' had not moved in all that time. Perhaps your young mannequin has an American cousin?
