Description

Fort Ross was built starting in 1811, or thereabouts and was a Russian settlement on the California coast just north of Bodega Bay. I had been wanting to visit Fort Ross for a while, and since we were so close while visiting the Bodega Bay, place "The Birds" had been filmed, we decided to go visit Fort Ross. Great scene of the fort I expected it to be bigger for some reason.............. Must of took forever to finish that fence I bet the workers were pooped when they got done............. I wonder if the little building on the side was somebodys home or at least a place to sleep.................... Great scenery in the background too all those trees One would find a gorgeous Christmas tree among all of those I bet Great pic sis I enjoyed the looking Hugs Susan~
