Description

[best viewed full sized] Hello All! This arrangement of horse-chestnuts, (known locally as conkers) shell husks and leaves were gathered in a local wood to produce this piece. I have been putting out the nuts for a squirrel that visits the garden daily and I am hoping to get some shots of him as he rushes around hiding them for winter. Somehow my childhood memories are awakened again, when we used to play as kids with chestnuts, in Berlin where I grew up ... I haven't seen them here were I live now! (the Sub-tropics of Australia) I am happy to read, this will make wonderful food for your visiting Squirrels, like to see a pic of them finding it. well done, BB
