[best viewed full sized] Hello All! Well, it's been a while since I was last here - I've been kept busy with industrial photography work projects. This picture of Elvis the month old foal was taken last June as part of a farm and stables calendar project. He was awkwardly trying to eat grass facing downhill on a grassy slope and hadn't yet worked out that it would be far easier if he turned around to face uphill. Nearly a year on and Elvis is now an impressive 14 hands tall. Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are, as always, more than welcome and valued! Carl

Well Carl, this is so beautiful to see. I love his hairs are standing up high between his ears. It's such a brave 'baby-horse'. That black around both eyes is adorable.

It is great to see a posting from you again. This is such an adorable little foal right at the beginning of his life and though he is fully grown now it is great for you to have this to look back on. I love how he has his legs splayed out for balance and he is giving you a look that is saying 'don't laugh at me'. A lovely shot.
