PHEW! WHAT A RELIEF! Neil, I was starting to give up on R-osity! There are others I used to look at who've left and never come back. And....then you! Man, I feel like starting posting again! Good work on the cockpit images. Am I correct in assuming the plane in the square in the right hand image (looks like a Sabre jet) is the plane whose cockpit you've modeled? I'm also curious - where do you get the plans for the cockpit and its instrument panels? Keep up the good work! Let us know if you're trolled again so we can troll the troll back to Trollsville! :-)

Nice work! A detailed cockpit model separate from the plane model is a good idea so you do not load down your computer with the cockpit when you only need the plane or vice versa.

Those are some very classy guages...particularly the modern artificial horizon. So, what would I be flying if I was sitting in this cockpit? P.S. Yesterday we visited the newest Crooked River Gorge Bridge in Oregon...it is named, Rex T. Barber Veterans Memorial Bridge in honor of Colonel Rex T. Barber. Barber was one of a flight of 16 P-38s assigned to "get Yamamoto at all costs". He was the P-38 fighter pilot who shot down Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto's plane on April 18th, 1943. As I read the history of that mission on a big board next to the bridge, I thought I'd suggest Barber's shoot down as a future project for you (add to your when I can get around to it list). All you'll need is a P-38 and a Betty Bomber:) Think I saw them collecting dust in the old hangar behind the plant, didn't I?

Well.......................Up is down and down is.........that a way! Nice cockpit but the artificial horizon is. Oh well. How ever.....Neat cockpit! It kind of reminds me of flying a Pullman simulator. (that's another story)
