Progress on my latest 'muse'.....having finished the cockpit I started on the body and figured we may as well have an engine too.I don't know why but I was surprised when the cockpit actually fitted in the fusilage without alteration...
As Osper noted in my last post, the aircraft appeared to be flying upside down according to the artificial horizon. The dials were lifted from a photo of an actual Mig 15, however it was lying on it's back in a scrapyard.I have sorted that out now.
Still not fully up to speed with this, but getting there...thanks for the comments and personal messages....they really are appreciated.
Well hope you like this so far, more to follow...

Wonderful job you are doing. So much work to do scouting around for photos and drawings as well as the actual modeling.

Thanks for sharing this wip. If the complete model is as detailed as the cockpit, it will be a masterpiece! Great work, waiting to see the next step!

Wow! A really nice job of "espionage" on the secret workings of the "Plant". I really appreciate seeing the Wings3D software in use. Having done a good job on the cockpit, there shouldn't be any bad fit. Looks like a LOT of fun working with (once one gets to know the workings of the program). I'd like more posts showing work progress in the Wings3D program - looks exciting. Keep 'em comin'! :-)

It's "Deja Vue" all over again. The Brits supplying a russian jet with a British engine!!! (So to speak) As for my comment on the last. Maybe you just needed the power turned on! Keep up the work (good work that is). ;)

I like, I like it. I've got at least a dozen or more pics of two or three different Mig 15s. Need any?
