Description
Thought i would share the process on this one, in case anyones interested.
The background is a render made in Mojoworld. Saved as two layers, png and bmp, merged in CS5, no postwork.
The model is rendered in Daz, then saved as a wavefront obj ( poser units).
I opened a 2d plane in Bryce ( 7Pro)and imported the mojo render onto the plane, scaled to suit the image size i wanted.(An atmosphere was chosen to match the image light and colours).
I then imported the obj model and posed as required...moved the sun around until it gave the best light....rendered as fine art( oh and i smoothed the model prior to render).
The render was again saved as png and bmp, opened in CS5, merged onto one layer then some vapour trails added...and hey presto, the above render is the result...sounds easy, LOL, the only fiddly bit is to get the plane in the right position and placing the model so no shadows fall onto the plane....
Hope this is useful..sorry to post so many this weekend
Have a safe week
Cheers, as always best in zoom

Interessante Szene und Kamerawinkel.

nice render :-) the smoke trail/contrails was a good touch as it adds a sense of scale to the ship, and banking the camera adds a sense of movement and urgency
