Description
I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come and see!" I looked, and there before me was a white horse. Its rider held a bow, and wore a crown, and rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

Myth and religion have great images. I think Americans are used to seeing other mythologies re-envisioned (particularly Greek and Roman, but some others, too). I think it's useful to look again at Biblical material.
The background is an old World War 2 black and white photo. I played with the color, and did things with the bump mapping. Please view full-sized.
The lighting isn't perfect. I may tweak it some more.

Interesting idea. From what I do recall of my reading of the bible it certainly does not lack for graphic imagery.
