My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

A beautiful well framed shot Tara.

Isn't that the most incredible mountain? It was the first real big mountain I ever saw and it blew me away! I will never forget the first look I got of it rising above the trees and the landscape. Awesome and evocative. Great shot.

Outstanding shot! I see it from its west side every day (at least when the clouds aren't hiding it)

I get to view this almost every day(well, every day that it isn't raining or cloudy). Aren't I a lucky individual. Beautiful shot of my favorite mountain.

What a fantastic shot of Mt. Hood, Tara! Wow! I've only seen it once, when I was very young. I had an aunt & uncle that lived in Portland, both gone, now. Hope to make it up your way someday....

So, that's what it looked like:) I only remember a curvy road and double yellow lines as we drove by here. Neat shot:*

Very nice shot! In its aloneness, framed by the trees, it resembles Mount Olympia in Washington.

Superb framing and overall stunning image. I keep waiting for a line of stars to appear over the summit like the old Paramount movie logo. {;^)

What a gorgeous mountain! I think another mountain would actually call this sexy, though I'm no expert on the habits of mountains. I love the framing here, but what really grabs me is the rock/snow relationship. Such nice shapes! Really sweet image! I never thought I'd say this, but snow looks pretty cool...at least when it's not all gray and grungy in a streetside gutter! Nice. Very nice!

beautiful!

Lol at Bill! You in the pilot seat most trips? Lovely lighting and pleasing comp.!

Beautiful view Tara. Thats the part I liked about the Pacific Northwest - on clear days one can see the various old volcanoes in the distance - snow-covered all the way down. Problem was, there weren't too many clear days!!
