My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Ā
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made!Ā :)
Ā
In March, 2013, we sold ourĀ home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time.Ā What a blast!Ā There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
Ā
If Iām missing from Renderosity from time to time, Iām busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!Ā

Such a wonderful picture and dedication! This actually makes me think of something Ursula K. LeGuin might write about, perhaps in one of her Earthsea novels. (If it wasn't for Ursula K. LeGuin, Samuel R. Delany, and China MiƩville, I probably wouldn't read the Fantasy genre at all!) There's an elegance to it, a rather vibrant bit of Nature at its finest, even with a corral fence! The colors and the shimmer mood simply rocks, and it's such a perfect birthday dedication! Happy Birthday, Mark!

I really had no expectations for today so this is a pleasant surprise. I love the symbolism of the fence and the fall color lurking in the background. I can identify with the simple, rough hewn design. I've never thought of myself as terribly smooth or sophisticated. Thank you, Tara. This is a wonderful birthday gift.
