Such a wonderful picture and dedication! This actually makes me think of something Ursula K. LeGuin might write about, perhaps in one of her Earthsea novels. (If it wasn't for Ursula K. LeGuin, Samuel R. Delany, and China Miéville, I probably wouldn't read the Fantasy genre at all!) There's an elegance to it, a rather vibrant bit of Nature at its finest, even with a corral fence! The colors and the shimmer mood simply rocks, and it's such a perfect birthday dedication! Happy Birthday, Mark!

I really had no expectations for today so this is a pleasant surprise. I love the symbolism of the fence and the fall color lurking in the background. I can identify with the simple, rough hewn design. I've never thought of myself as terribly smooth or sophisticated. Thank you, Tara. This is a wonderful birthday gift.
