Description
Captured 10/27/09, in the early AM, in the front yard, about a mile away, of a most enterprising and imaginative neighbor, who features on every Halloween season a vast array of bizarre life sized creatures, ghouls, monsters, torture victims, witches, etc. No wimpy pumpkin and Casper the Friendly Ghost fellow he, his are the most bloody, gory and scary stuff around. Not to miss this labor of love, I visited his home in 2008 & 2009 to record his presentations. I was really taken by it all. I have never met him personally, but have engaged his wife and mother in conversation about his favorite holiday thing. They think it's a hoot and really enjoy the notoriety.
So, in commemoration of my favorite holiday, I will be posting a series of rather grotesque and postworked Halloween images during the coming week, all shot on their front lawn.

Oh!!! What a nasty creature, but very well captured, Harry. These people might be axe-murderers, maybe you should be careful around there...Halloween will be a real celebration for them!
