Description
A moment of sizing me up as I came over the crest of the sand dunes was all they looked up for the 10 minutes or so we studied them. So intent on feeding where these Elk, that they never looked up in our direction again. This image was all that I could get for a beauty shot. A great week to all!

Beautiful capture! You can see a bit of the grass he is munching. He looks so regal in his surroundings. I love the variations of the colors and textures of the grass, and the vertical lines of the centers of the trees.
