Description

We took our fall trip into Arkansas this past weekend, and had one hell of a fantastic time! One of the places we spent an afternoon in was Petit Jean State Park located about 25 miles west of Conway, Arkansas. If you like a great, although tragic, love story, the legend behind Petit Jean will captivate you. You can read about this bizarre tale Right Here. Although this post could have come from anywhere, it was taken deep inside the massive park on the way to one of its waterfalls. There had been a good rain the night before, and a heavy fog covered the mountain Sunday morning. This leaf had fallen to the ground, and although when walking by I was oblivious to its existence, Julia was quick to notice the fallen leaf with the numerous drops of water. So I stole her find and photographed it. I'll post a few more from that delightfully damp Sunday morning. Thanks for stopping by! marshall
