The Coronation Tuesday, October 25, 2011 15:00/3:00 PM
A second tall crane has been erected for construction of the new Triangle shopping, office and apartment complex. The new crane is 24 sections high, whereas the first is 32 sections high so the arms won't collide. They both have the same length arms. This series of photos shows the "coronation" of the new crane, with the cab section being mounted on the rotational base. Yesterday (Friday, Oct. 28) the crane was finished and in full operation.
Neil, since I can't "crown" you king of aircraft modelling in 3D, at least I can dedicate a series of coronation photos to you! Keep up the good work!
