Description

Wednesday, November 16, 2011 17:20/5:00 PM Lights in the sky. What are they? Flying saucers? Space ships? Airplanes? Helecopters? No. Simply the two huge cranes at the Triangle construction site photographed after dark. The lights are to help people on the ground see the crane's arms so they can guide the crane operators. The lights also help light the construction site. The paired lights are located just below the operator's cabs. Shortly after the photo was taken, most of the lights were turned off as the workmen went home for the night. It gets dark about 17:00/5:00 now. I felt this would be a rather dramatic and interesting photo. Enjoy!
