Description
This scene was created in 2009 for that year's Halloween Contest, the theme was "Carnival of Evil". I never did post this to my gallery and since I haven't had time to create a seasonal image this year, thought it would be a perfect time to add it. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and Happy Halloween to everyone!

I think she's not as defenceless as it seems. In fact, she's a S'Nkagtoo demon which like cats and eat vampires for breakfast. She's dressed in red to lure him and he's going to have a very bad surprise... LOL HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This is one of those "shots" that sneaks up on you. I noticed the figure in the shadowed background immediately, but the repetition of the skull motif didn't hit me until a bit later, and it was rather like seeing that quick flash of the face in facepaint (like a demonic mask) in The Exorcist. It was very quick and nearly subliminal, but apparently it was one of those quick-shot things (nearly subliminal) that left a lot of people feeling uneasy as many didn't initially recognize that they had simply seen a face with facepaint, looking more goofy than scary. This image has that same effect and I really love the way that it works. I think a large portion of that is due to the limited range of color and the graceful, naturalism this image possesses. Really nice. I like this a lot.
