Description
Just got back from a trip and wanted to post a photo from that journey. This is probably the best of the lot, although I have some others that I think are pretty good also. This shot is looking out over the southern edge of the Great Salt Lake in Utah. A snow storm was passing through and made for some dramatic scenes in the afternoon.
Hope everyone is well and it's good to be back!

Spectacular. We passed by here recently too but on a day of sunshine with a bit of haze...nothing like this. Great shot.

Use to live there, this looks like the view south! It is the salt content of the lake that makes "the greatest snow on Earth" Dramatic image!

Stunning!! It really looks so peaceful, hard to believe it harbors a winter storm. If I had taken this photo, I would have considered this alone worth the trip. :) I love it. I'd love see more. A real beauty.

Wowser! What a shot! This is fabulous. When we were in that area (October 18 & 19) it was just hazy as all getout, and looked like it had been that way for weeks. This is absolutely spectacular! Gorgeous image.

I was just about to comment that this sort of render is nearly impossible to achieve with the dynamic range limitations of real world photography. Until i saw it IS a photo. Duh! What do i know? Fantastic photo!
