And so it begins again... at last! Please view full size, it is quite large.
By the Gods Ninshubar that was damn hard work getting this mess all sorted out. We set off just heading for a read of Grandfather's library and wound up waging a war! I'm thirsty! This Akkadian swill they call beer here in Lagash is ok, but I could sure do with a strong Sumerian real ale!
Me too my Lady! This being a good girl mentor to Alora has worn me right out - I wanna have some fun! And with all this fighting and spell casting I'm so thirsty. I need a beer fit for the Gods!
Ha, well said dear cousin! And we both know who has the best home brew in Sumer, don't we?
Grandfather Enki! Oh yes let's go back to Eridu! Let's kick back, party, feast and get wasted! Oh, and let's not forget to give our kisses to Grandfather too; he'll be thrilled at what we've pulled off here at Lagash.
Yes the old boy will be glad we got people straightened out about this worshiping stuff. Hopefully it'll keep the family business going for a few more centuries ...Haaa! We'll all need a celebration about that. But aside from pounding back a lot of ale, more than ever I thirst for the knowledge of Grandfather's library. I want it. That work springing Alora and Sargon was just a bit too much; I want to learn to control people better so we don't wind up with a mess like that again. So let's drink beer and party on, yes, but let us not forget our original reason for leaving Uruk. We're going to Eridu and see if we cannot liberate some of those tablets from Grandpa's library!
Well then my Lady let us be off! Ventusi is ready to sail. I think it is time for us to feel the call of the wind! What about you? You ready for a wild ride?

The legend continues as the girls head for a bit of a bender at Grandpa's brewery. The gods of Mesopotamia were known to be lustful, playful and capricious, so this is all in character. Will the girls wrap the old guy around their fingers as they seek to liberate his library or will the forces of reason and wisdom prevail? Only the God's know, and they'll all be at Enki's welcoming party!

They kinda remind be of the Bacchante, women who ritualistically engaged in wine, sex, and dance in honor of the god Bacchus. They were reputed to be quite dangerous in their frenzy. Cool image.

My kinda girls. Let's party, then tomorrow let's read and learn everything we can. Then let's party some more, among other things ;) Gorgeous image and lush vibrant colors. I like the reading as dialog. We can reference the image for atmosphere and you depict the mood perfectly. Awesome work, should prove to be an eye opening experience for these two, I would bet.
