Hi,
My name is Dean Etheridge and welcome to my bio.
I practice as a qualified engineering design professional, using high-end 3D modelling and manufacturing software. My product designs are specified globally on a wide variety of applications, including automotive, aerospace and other diverse high-technology applications.
I possess a solid grounding in the use of traditional media techniques, and my work naturally progressed to encompass advancements in the use of digital tools. From here, it was a small step to rediscover my love of more uniquely artistic themes.
My graphic style has always been strongly associated with reproducing realism as closely as possible, and probing the envelope of how this can be achieved across different sets of software packages.
I am honoured to have had my work selected for publication in several areas. These include the DAZ/deviantART ‘12 Months of 3D’ competition; ‘ImagineFX’ magazine; Ballistic Publishings’ ‘EXOTIQUE 2’ and 'EXOTIQUE 4' and '3DArtist' magazine.
My other interests are photography and travel. For the latter, I have been privileged to have travelled to, and explored many continents around the world. My favourite second home is SE Asia, and I am greatly influenced by both it’s people and culture.
I currently live in the UK with my wife and daughter who are both very special to me, and hugely supportive in my work.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW Deane! This is AWESOME! Nearly looks like a photo! Beautiful lingerie too! Sure nice to see a post from you. Glad you posted this gorgeous image. It would be a shame to not share a render of this magnitude. I know what you mean about being busy. The last six months have been like that for me. Not much time to do anything more that doodle with new items. No upload-worthy images really.

I suppose I can wait once a year for work of this quality Deane. I like the very realistic lighting on this most enchanting character -- she's gorgeous. Here's hoping we'll see more work. I just hope we won't have to wait another year. :-)

It is so wonderful to finally see magnificent art again by one I consider the master of subtlety and delicacy... this image could so seriously be a photograph, capturing a thoughtful moment in a young lady's afternoon. Every touch you've applied here says "mindfulness". And your version of Poser says: it's not the tool... it's the man behind the tool. :) An exquisite piece of art, Deane!!!

very realistic lighting and materials! i think it's interesting how apprehensive she looks. her face is very interesting, and her expression is realistic. i'm not sure i quite understand what style her hair is supposed to be in (does she have a mullet?), but it looks like you did a great painting job on that hair behind her neck (i'm assuming it's painted, that is). i think you did an excellent job adding realism to her body, and i especially like how her hands look. the only thing i wish is that we could see a larger version. glad to have you back!

Very Sexy !! :)

There is a really strong resemblance to the British actress Sophie Aldred. The grimace really nails the character. Put her in jeans and a leather jacket and you'd have Dorothy McShane (aka Ace). Beautiful job.
