Description
Captured both last year and this, within walking distance of my daunting domicile.
Totally ZOOM worthy.
Top two photos are of the same benches, snapped months apart at different POVs, and featuring a change of advertising.
Couldn't pass up the cast shadows in shot #4.
Bottom picture is the bench adjacent to the Greyhound Bus station. One would think they could afford something a bit more opulent in style.
And, all of the benches shown look hard on the buttocks.

What an interesting collage of benches I love that some have adverts on them, all very intriguing Harry. Thanks also for the cast shadows one it has helped me in a background I am making where there is a bench and a moon, really helpful that one. hugs Jane

Nice array Harry. Did you try each of them out? Plain as it may be, the bench in the bottom photo may be the most comfortable. I like a back. Good looking shadows in the 4th pic.

Another excellent collection of benches, Harry. We don't see many of those advertising benches anymore, at least around here; too much opportunity for feral youth to use them as a backdrop for their stupid graffiti, I guess. That cement one looks really hard and cold, wouldn't want to be on it for too much time! The ones I saw in England were very narrow, slanted, backless and made of metal, not at all comfortable; I suppose it's to discourage homeless types from using them as a bed.

How about a long Greyhound on the back of the bus station bench? All benches have interesting qualities....my favorite is the simple stone bench in the middle.
