Bill, this is the engine from the 1.2 steam tractor. After seeing the wonderful shot of Taras, I thought this would be the right to post for you on your birthday. Happy Birthday, Bill.

Oh boy Helle, a great set of colorful mechanical things that come well packed in grease. Just the way I like my toys or at least the ones I love to look at, read about and photograph. And on top of that this is from a steam engine in a tractor! Perfect:) Thanks for thinking of me and a hearty congratulations on number 1800!

What a wonderful set of images! They're absolutely perfect for a guy who likes to poke his nose into every mechanical thing that comes along, and the closer the better! Aside from that, they're just great pics. I love seeing all the detail, and the gears are great! Excellent photos for celebrating a birthday, and for marking a milestone! I can see these shots and imagine that nice smell of mineral oil or whatever kind of oil lubricates the insides of things that do lots of work! And I love the details and your use of light is fantastic. Machines are so cool! I love them; I may not always like working them, but I adore photographing them, and here, you've made the internal organs of a tractor look incredibly nice! That's quite a skill, and you captured so many details. I can easily get lost in these images and that's such a fun feeling and to top it off, it's a wonderful, absolutely perfect birthday dedication! Happy Birthday Bill. And I love this duo of shots. The one on the right almost reminds me of an antique telephone. Can you see the mouth piece and the metal bit for the bell-ringer?

(caught you a ship! :-D if you have the patience, could catch you a steamboat saturday! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinterklaas -expecting visitors... i.e. < St. Nicholas is well known in Spain as the patron of sailors, so that´s why St. Nicholas comes to the Netherlands always in a steamboat. > - ) wonder what Bill will play with 1st?! ;-D wonderful shot & dedi!!!
