Description
ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA 2011:
The 2nd Imperial Fleet arrived in Earth orbit on October 3rd 1944, armies who had been fighting each other for years suddenly found themselves united against a common enemy.
This famous painting by the Danish artist Erik Larsen depicts RAF Typhoon fighter-bombers going after enemy assault transports off over the Mediterranean, thirty-seven pilots of forty died, but they took out three transports and damaged the other two.

i saw a ufo as a kid coming home from school one day but it was boring and didnt do anything exciting, but it did look a lot like those! spooky :-)

In the movies the aliens have never heard of "divide and conquer", several centuries to plan an attack and carry an army across the vastness of space when all they needed to do was find a disgruntled Austrian corporal, hand him some crates of "fire sticks" and its all on.... ;-) Btw... Where was Doktor Von Braun in all this??? He must be positively drooling to get his hands on some wreckage!!!

I'm pretty sure von Braun and others like him are hard at work in their respective laboratories around the world.
