Description
Several people said they'd like to see some other versions of "A Winter Sunset". I always love to get other peoples take on a scene. Thank your for your kind comments on my first winter scene of the season.
My original intent was to do a "early morning frosty" scene. This version is closest to what I originally had in mind but it looks too much like a greeting card, it lacks depth and interest. I might use it for my Christmas card this year.
This also provides me with another opportunity to attribute the models I used since I completely neglected to do so yesterday. I'm so sorry for that.
The birds are Chickadees from Ken Gilliland's Songbird Remix from Daz. The barn is a freebie from Tablesaw and the reeds on the left are by bigbraader from C3D.
I apologize for omitting the attributes yesterday.
Thanks again for your support and wonderful comments.

In fact, I like the one posted yesterday... I like more the warmer colours! But even this is lovely... and, like you said, it's perfect as a Christmas card! :)

What a gorgeous winter scene. Beautiful composition and the lighting is superb. Excellent work.

I like the cold, cold, frosty feel to this one better, but the flatness is there. What can you do, though, overcast will give that diffuse light. Maybe you could change the direction of the sun. Don't know poser, can you darken the sky dome to set off the treeline with a little more contrast?

Some might see it as "cardy" but I think its superb. You could save this and redo it for each season.

An early winter my Beatiful . There still fall colors and it is like that too, a great work dominates the dream ((5 + +)) Une hiver comme précoce ma Belle . Il y reste encore couleurs d'automne et c'est bien comme cela aussi ,Un excellent travail qui domine le rêve ((5++))

I like your previous one better, I think that this one is lacking a few shadows to give it depth, it is very good despite that, and like you say, it would make a lovely Christmas card :)

Wonderful winter scene.

Looks very nice and realistic. I don't think it lacks depth and interest. <3

To me, this has more of a winter feeling that the other one. The other has a warmer more autumnal look about it. Winter frequently looks like a greeting card with its minimalist color schemes and its more austere compositions. Beautiful rendition my dear!
