Description

Several people said they'd like to see some other versions of "A Winter Sunset". I always love to get other peoples take on a scene. Thank your for your kind comments on my first winter scene of the season. My original intent was to do a "early morning frosty" scene. This version is closest to what I originally had in mind but it looks too much like a greeting card, it lacks depth and interest. I might use it for my Christmas card this year. This also provides me with another opportunity to attribute the models I used since I completely neglected to do so yesterday. I'm so sorry for that. The birds are Chickadees from Ken Gilliland's Songbird Remix from Daz. The barn is a freebie from Tablesaw and the reeds on the left are by bigbraader from C3D. I apologize for omitting the attributes yesterday. Thanks again for your support and wonderful comments.

It is very interesting to see the difference in the two. The first is my favorite, but this is very beautiful too and very nice for a Christmas card. In the stronger light the details of the birds, particularly the two in the front, is greater. (Lovely birds) I noticed the little red tree in the last image, and I like the way it stands out here as a splash of color in a largely pastel scene. Beautiful winter scene!

An other atmosphere, an other scene, an other magnificent image !! The cold is perceptible in this one, and it doesn't lack interest !! Chickadees on the dead trunk look a bit benumbed by this chilly morning !! I like this second version too, with just a few warm touches in all these white and blue tones... Bravo !!
