My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

LOL! Excellent photo and I love your disclaimer. It looks great in B&W. Judging from the shoes, it looks like there may be a female hiding in the back. Wonderful street scene!

Ooooh, Frat Boys...or at least frat boy types: it's the bone structure, the strut, and the back-turned baseball caps. These guys just scream higher education or maybe they're screaming: keggers and babes or something. And have you noticed that the second one from the right, just in front of the disembodied toes, looks a wee bit like Val Kilmer, only not? The only one actually wearing a backwards baseball cap has some other kind of Hollywood gene thing going on...and something in his bone structure makes me think of that Jerry Whatsisname guy from the show Sliders. There's a distinct, US-American genotype out there and Hollywood has found it! Okay, and now that I've rambled on and on, I will also say that I love this shot. I mean, it's that urban-people-focus-vibe thing; totally on the fly, totally spontaneous, and really compelling as it's a great character study. I'm actually on this human focus kick and so I suspect I'm going to hang out with Corey, lurking outdoors somewhere with lots of people...tomorrow...I've worked today and so all I'm going to do is sit on my butt and comment on photos. This is a brilliant one! You've definitely got the random crowd of people eye working in your favor! Great choice in using black and white as well. I like this.

I don't see the thumbnails since I open from my email. When I saw your title I immeadiately thought of the Monkees. I wonder if that means your title is that obvious or that I'm that intuitive. It probably just means I'm old since I actually watched the series. An excellent candid shot. Black and white is a perfect choice.

hehe those boys are hott :P (sorry had to say it ima teenage girl what do you expect)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. This is the third time in as many days that I've attempted to comment on this picture. Let's see if the Internet goes wonky this time. Let's see, what did I say in the two previous rather lengthy comments? Can't remember now, but I sang your praises pretty loudly and in four part harmony.I'm going to attempt to foil the curse here but cutting to the chase and saying that this is a GREAT shot! I love how in one snap you've captured all their individual personalities as they move. Wonderful candid. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Is this going to go up this time?
