I really like the composition here; the little eyelet and cable are something that one might want to remove from a photo just to make it "pretty" or to call attention to the main subject, but here--as you've captured it--it adds a wonderful foreground effect to the image: a third layer that shifts somewhere between foreground and somewhere else if that makes sense. At any rate, I love what this does to the composition as it also calls attention to the fact that this is a photograph from now and from this world and not some idealized place where there are no humans. That works so well in this image and so does your handling of the light in this shot. There is light, there are shadows; there are contours picked out by the shadows, and it all makes for a wonderfully dynamic shot. It's very strokable. This is really marvelous!
