Now here's somebody who knows his good side and how to show it to maximum effect! This is superb, and since it's a pelican, it's even better! I really love the contrasts, the color, the bird, the bird's pose, and his ruffled head-feathers giving him the vague countenance of a somewhat crabby old man. The colors really grab me. This is quite an excellent shot and it's gonna have to make a trip into my growing Favorites file.
