Description
It's bad enough when you have to go and meet your beloved's family - especially her father. But imagine if you will, walking into this! Not only is your beloved a fey vampire, but her mom is the Great Witch, big brother is a mage of formidable powers who keeps a small flock of dragons, and daddy is a powerful battle-mage...a man you just don't want to cross - ever.
Angus is a brave lad though. I'm sure he'll get through it with flying colors!

This is the first time I've ever done more than three figures in one scene. I saved often - real often, the whole time.
Mom's dress, crown and collar is by HMG - 'Asrai', which requires 'Fae Realms' from DAZ. Hair and horns are 'MidSummer Night's Dreams'. Moira's hair is 'Bechet Braids'. Magnus' hair is 'Jamie Hair', and Gwidion is sporting the good ol' 'Cuffed Tail' by AprilYSH.
Background is 'Fantasy Tavern' (also at DAZ) which is now the Finn Family's 'great hall' sans several tables, chairs, etc and a few modifications. This is an awesome prop if you haven't seen it.
I think our other crew has probably arrived in Rabat by now. Guess I should get back to them.

After my initial wow moment I took a good long time to study each in detail. Each shows some key elements of personality e.g. Magnus looking brazenly confident like he would shread you in a moment if you threatened his kin, big brother with a cool self assuredness, Mom looking strong and protective of her realm, and sister looking a bit demure, but very proud of her family. I like the bits of details in the clothing, e.g. the pentegrams on Magnus, the amulet on big bro. And of course you wrap it up with your distinctive framing.

Oh wow--and I thought I was nervous my first time meetign the hubby's fam. Takes a man of formidable strength indeed to meet this group...lol Very cool render--once again loving the color choices, textures and framing!

That gives new meaning to the term 'family snapshot'. Great cast of characters and their poses and expressions are so telling. Moira looks quite cute and almost giddy. Gwidion carries such a sardonic look about him. Dad looks mad and over protective and mom is very matronly in appearance. She looks like she could carry the weight of the whole family. Beautifully composed and executed and super render. Great framing too. Looking forward to more of the story.
