Description

Yet another had been observing the events of the night, cloaked from detection by all. For all it's apparent youth and slight familiarity, the man's face was a chaos of sorrow, anger and ferocity melded in the hard-bitten mask of a warrior. He was not just any warrior but a battle-mage. He didn't need anyone to tell him what was going on. He knew all too well. The sorrow was for the burden of guilt he'd seemingly without regard draped upon his daughter's shoulders, for the lie and the hurt he'd caused her. He watched her bite down on her seething anger at this pair of interlopers who should never have been allowed their freedom. His anger was at himself for not having been strong enough to slay Mog when Mog should have been terminated. Yet it had driven every one of them to strengthen themselves and become more than they should ever have been. The ferocity was bred from years of trials and tests as he learned his own strengths and powers from an unforgiving and hard-driving master. Mog had not abided by the terms of their agreement that should he lose, Magnus would leave and Mog would leave his family alone. Magnus mac Finn no longer felt bound to honor such an agreement, and he no longer could stand being away from his family. He'd learned all Dyfed Corm could teach him...which was considerable. United, they would destroy the Laird of Shadows and his wicked sister once and for all. He marveled at the control Moira now exerted over herself. She'd been like a wild beast when he left. These events tonight had made her furious beyond anything he'd ever seen in her - when she wasn't in a feeding lust - yet she remained firmly in control of her desire to fly off into the night and rip Damara to shreds. It could wait. Protecting the man in the house could not. His little kitten was a lioness now, like her mother. It filled him with pride, as well as a burning curiosity to know why this human was so important to his daughter. He saw a small dragon fly back and enter the house. He recognized her as a daughter of Gwidion's familiar, Gorm. So...even his son was in on protecting this human. Interesting! ***** Hahahaha Arthur re: the 'cheeky' comment. Good one :) Indeed! Thank you all for your lovely comments. They are much appreciated. I hope your weekend is awesome! Magnus is only covered in Yannis skin texture. The morphs to his body and face are my own. I've also made a few additions to his face and torso texure and modified the later somewhat.

He looks totally like someone you would never want to mess with. These strong blue and purple images have been a real treat. So now the whole family is going to get into the protection racket. I think Mog and sister are in for one hell of a scrap - but I think they are also a pretty tough pair too.

You created a very strong and fierce looking man. If he is a man. If looks could kill, then he just laid low to a village. Beautiful work. Great lighting and render. As for the sleeping Angus, I can't help myself with puns sometimes ;)

totally digging on the mystical beauty of this portrait. What makes portrait work great as a whole is how the showcase underlines personality. Even better when the "photographer" artist knows how to infuse the work with elements of unspoken yet hinted at attributes. I can see this being is not only beautiful strong, determined, intelligent... a fighter--fierce, battle weary and scarred--a complex being indeed!
