Dear friends,
this is the 100th pic in this series and I felt it must be something special.
This pic was taken in march 2011 when I visited the Old Museum in Berlin. This sculpture of a fighting amazone got my special interest (the goods inside the museum too, of course)for its natural look and the fine textures and details....
I named it for myself "Working Girl" as a dedication to all working women of the world. Working women we can find all over the world, from high qualified jobs in policy, medicine, education, military, justice and others to the marketplaces in western Africa or the slave working manufactories of China.
Well educated or analphabetic: All of the ladies "have balls", most of them must work even harder as men to earn only basic respect, a lot of them do the repairwork that is needed since men rule the world. I take off my hat before them....
