Description

Have some traffic. Captured 1/31/11, looking east very early in the morning, within hiking distance of my retrograde residence. Absolutely ZOOM worthy. This is the Interstate 5, which runs from the Mexican to the Canadian border. This particular stretch runs east and west. A non sequitur, I know. Allaismalardik, thankx for tuning in, and for any and all favs and laudatory comments.

Is everyone trying to escape from Mexico or America I wonder!!!! Excellent captures of the freeway and I am so glad I no longer have to worry about such traffic these days, not that I ever had to put up with anywhere near this amount of traffic. Walking everywhere is great these days.

Wow, you braved the exhaust fumes to get these shots, Harry; hope you didn't need oxygen after! Excellent documentation of the metropolitan traffic near you. It seems narrower there than it is up here, at least where it goes through Seattle. And traffic in both directions is bumper-to-bumper 7 days a week here. I'm very, very glad that I don't have to get on a freeway for my commute, I take the scenic backroads for the 6 miles to and from work. But my dad spent over an hour each way into El Segundo from Long Beach and back for many, many years. I don't know how he stayed sane!

The right side traffic looks more like what I have heard about California freeways. Nice shot.
