after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.

Peeping SteveOh - lol... I love child hood stories... I love it when someone has the guts to admit to doing something they would never do now - like climbing someones tree and watching a homeowner - lol... but, If she looks anything like what you got here, I can understand why - lol... I'm thinking she was an old lady that you just didn't see too often and may of frightened you with all he gray hair and stuff - lol... odd, but she probably enjoyed watching you climb in her tree - maybe she use to be a tree climber when she was young and you guys gave her something of peace and longing - she didn't feel lonely... you guys probably made her day from time to time - as we get older, sometimes when we think back on how we felt, sometimes we have a whole new meaning of what could of been going on way back when.... I remember thinking someone might be a witch... a house might be haunted - hell, I grew up in a house that we had a dirtroom and we called it that - the furnace was in there and every now and then the room glowed from the flames - my Brothers and sisters had me believing there was a dirtman living in there - lol

I think every street I ever lived on as a kid growing up 50s early 60 had at least one "Witch" on the Block, none looked like her though. Super work man Peace

Creepy story there Steve! We had a satanic cult doing odd things in the forested area behind the condo complex we lived at. At least till half the local police force showed up to haul them off. Funny how many people have stories like this yes? And Many thanks for the dedi Steve!

I have one of those stories too! The lady lived about 3 blocks away from us, and all us kids would go dare each other to go peek inside her windows! WONDERFUL image!

I recall a woman like that from my childhood. She didn't like like the one in her render, and she frightened the hell out of all us kids, till I crashed my bike. Guess who the first one to me was. She was pretty awesome, fantastic cookie baker, and the stories she could tell. I still remember her with fondness. Great render, and thanks for the flashback.
tynana
superb image to go with that memory!
brewgirlca
If the lady was looking like this I suspect you young boys were not so much concerned about whether she was a witch or not! Sounds though like she may have been putting on a bit of a show for you guys. You did an absolute smashing job on the dusty window here- really remarkable. And you really stuffed her attic with goodies.
