Description
With the warm weather arrival, we are also inundated with the distinct and familiar Gecko sounds - anywhere, anytime ...
and this little baby was no exception - getting ready to undress himself, to get dressed ;)

They will shed their skin every 2-5 weeks, it's an automated process, that usually happens to allow them to grow, like all reptiles and amphibians.

Excellent photo. I think it is funny that in California and other states people pay money to have geckos as pets. In Okinawa we had to keep them out of the house. They kept us awake at night and even though they have feathered pads on there feet and can run across almost any surface.When you wake in the middle of the night and there is one on the ceiling above you one gets nervous. I sleep with my mouth open!

I love geckos. When they get in the house, I'm always trying to catch then before the cats do. The are quick little things. I've never seen one shedding its skin. Excellent image! Excellent detail. I like his splayed fingers.
