Description

I had a few minutes to toss around some ideas, so I dashed this together rather quickly. I wanted to see what I'd do if I only had 30 minutes to play with an image. Mostly I'm kind of surprised with how much I put together on this. I'm going to have to try this exercise again, if I ever get the time. As usual, this was all made in Photoshop, the stars mostly came from the plugin called "Glitterato" but were altered a bit. I use a random-cloud layer to make their distribution more random and give me clusters and open spaces, then I make duplicate layers with motion blurs to make the lens-flare spikes. The nebula is made from pictures of clouds. The planetoid came from the plugin "Lunarcell" with a couple of layers of alterations on that, as well. Thanks for taking a look. Suggestions? Critiques? Your ideas are most definitely welcome and appreciated.

The use of cloud images to produce nebulae was very successful. Nothin' better than the real thing I guess. The planet is interesting in a way. Didn't know you could produce something like that with LunarCell. It kind of looks like Europa or another one of those iceballs with the striations. The striations seem a little too evenly distributed, but hey... You did this in 30 minutes? Bravo!
