I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Oh my, what a coincidence, Big Bro, I just posted a steampunk render too. We do think alike, don't we? The lighting is perfect, and no constructive criticism from me--- you definitely have a knack with real photos and 3D images!

Great detailed scene Rod. I like steam punk images...even though I have no clue what steam punk means. Once again...blame it on old age!!!

Rod, this brings back memories of being in the Science and Technology Museum in London. I am not mechanical and I thought the musuem would be boring but like your work the museum showed the artistry of mechanical engineering. It is a really pretty piece you discovered and the drafted drawings are works of art unto themselves. It takes you back to a time when you had to be an artist to be an engineer.

Well this is a great idea Rod! Cool, I would be photographing such items in 'real' life for sure! lol Excellently modelled by the girlie! Great Render.. Rob

That is one cool engine Rob, and you did a great job in showing it off here. Reminds me of the charts I have for some old industrial equipment from the same era

Oh, man...the engine (and everything else) looks great. Somebody has really worked on building this model. The zoomed version is so worthwhile...I've been picking around for five minutes visiting all the details.

I love the way one can start out just messing about with things, or testing a new product and it ends up evolving into an uploadable image. I like this. Makes one wonder way the lady is roaming the museum with a lantern. Is she a ghost from times passed? Well, as for suggestions ... I think a different light would have done this image justice. Or perhaps the Dynamic Moods and Lighting product would have help sharpen it up and enhance it a bit. I love that product. It can really make your images pop sometimes.

You have made a great job of creating a lovely image around this great piece of machinery. Your lighting is so well done, it has a very realistic look to it. Excellent work.

Very cool looking image. The render came out great. Excellent job setting up the scene and all the extra prop. Lovely girl too. But I have to ask...What does it do?
NefariousDrO
Very cool, you did a great job of lighting it, but even more is the wonderful setting you put this excellent engine in. It has a nice enigmatic quality, and with a person looking on it feels like there's a story just waiting to be revealed.
FaeMoon
She looks very inventive with that engine! Cool stuff, and I didn't know I could put 3Ds models into poser, now I see it. SOOOO nice to know!
