Description

Here's an example of one of those things that just takes on a life of its own..... I was trolling Archive3D.net as I often do, and found this beautiful Benson vertical steam engine in .3DS format. This is one of the better models I've found there. Anyway, I was testing this in PP2012, and was quite impressed with it. I did a couple renders, liked what I saw, fiddled with the lighting, rendered again, liked it even more, added a few things........and so on. After several hours of fiddling, adjusting, adding, and yadda, yadda, this emerged. The girl is Giada from Illusion Designs. The picture frames are also .3DS files from Archive3D. I Googled "Benson Engine" and after some exploration, found the catalog pages I used in the frames and the book on the desk. The Benson Engine model is free, and you can download it HERE and play with it yourself. Just click on the picture of the engine to download. For those that are not aware of it, Poser will import .3DS files under FILE > IMPORT > 3D Studio. Aside from the candle flame and glow from the lamps, and my sig, this is an untouched PP2012 render. Thanks so much for all your wonderful comments, faves, support and suggestions! That brings up an important point - don't ever feel hesitant to make a suggestion or give me a constructive crit if you have an idea on how an image can be improved. I've had some wonderful suggestions from folks, and I really appreciate it!

Wonderful, almost classical composed scene, Rod! Effective and strictly with out any disturbing things (except her maybe!). Everything and detail support the engine - once high tech! Congratulations - extremely well done!! :o)
