Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

I can never understand why so many owners let their dogs off the lead on the Dorset cliffs, with tragic and/or expensive results. The lifeboat and coastguard are called out often for them. A scary looking slash in the land!
awjay
that first step looks a big one

You would never really expect this judging by the adjacent landscape...great shot!

Er! Yes, that's a drop for sure and I think signs in BOTH the car park and on the edge would be an idea!? Brilliant shot though.. Rob

It's a 300 foot drop. Amazing place! Those sheer cliff walls are fascinating. You did a good job with this, even though the light was in the wrong place. The vegetation patterns caught my eye. SO much to see!

Look, there's a sign.......I can't read it........let me get a little closer...... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! Well, I'm glad Mandy stayed in the car! :-D That's quite a shot, Bill! And remember - it's not the fall that kills you - it's that sudden stop at the bottom...

Fantastic image Oh and the poor lil dogs that have died there...and the sign even warns people as well...........how do they ever get down to get the dogs and take them away if they even do???????????? Looks like a pretty awesome place................I would stay in the car myself I am afraid of heights............ Tis a fav with me Hugs Susan~

Yep that's the difference between a gorge and a canyon. You don't see the drop until reaching the edge! Great image Bill, like the bridge!

That is a sheer ravine! Enjoying the tour, Clive

Super POV and Andrew is right - that first step would be a killer.
