My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I was disappointed that I did not spend more time in Cripple Creek.I may have seen this but between trying to find some place to eat to my liking and the road leading to Canon, I ran out of time.beautiful shot

One of the first thing I usually do when I see a window is to see if anyone is peeking out, lol. Nice shot. Aloha

And a lovely lady she is!

Wonderful POV. I understand that Painted Ladies have to have at least 4 colors? Anyway, wish I had one. I love Victorian things, and the era, or really, anything old. ;c)

The colors on the dormer slats remind me of shopping for paint...all those swatches. I was looking for ramshackled houses...you found painted ladies. Your eye doesn't miss a thing:) Postworked beautifully.

I was briefly expecting a butterfly. What a superb photo, and I think I should love the house, but not the upkeep.

More than anything I love, is the balcony - so sumptuous (sounds like I am talking about a big-breasted lady?) hmmmm - not far off, actually! beautiful architectural image, new to my viewing eyes, BB

These are the kinds of painted ladies I like. The other sorts of painted ladies are okay, too, only they charge too much, or offer to charge too much, even when you're genetically immune to their wiles. I knew a couple of those who always tried to convince me of things that were patently untrue. Needless to say, I rather like the wooden, Victorian ones a lot more, though all of the interesting stories happen inside of them, rather than to them. A fair trade off, I suppose. This is a brilliant, wonderfully seen, perfectly framed and colored shot. I like it immensely.
