When your little foot
Was the size of my thumb
You owned my heart
When you cut your own hair
And everyone was afraid I would be mad
You owned my heart
When you wanted another new bike
And I said no, no, no until you said I will give you a kiss
You got your new, new bike because you owned my heart
When you wrecked my car twice
And you were ok
You owned my heart
Now you are a grown lady
Working your way through school
I couldn’t be more proud of you
And of course you own my heart
This is a picture of my daughter Rachel getting ready for a race, she went to state 7 times in track and cross country. One time she was district cross country champion. When she was a freshman in high school she was caption of the Jr. Varsity basketball team. She is going to school to be a legal assistant and she called me last night to let me know she is fixing me enchiladas for lunch today ( my favorite ) If I just listed all the reasons why she owns my heart the list would keep growing until the day I died. So I will simply say the world is so much better with her in it.
