Description

...On Iain's character. I've been slowly getting things together, and managed to finally have DS3A to work. So, this is his morphs, the texture set I've been putting together and the first real test in Studio on him other than the two or three I managed to crank out before the program went kaput on me a few months ago. I'm not happy with the ink- it's too "pasted" on. I have an idea on how to get it to appear more Inked rather than Stamped, so I'll see if that works. In Studio, in the first two renders, the AO was set to 10% in the Uber Skin Shader. The rest I lowered it to 5%, which is a better result to me. I used the Kitchen preset on the skin, and the Uber Environment at high settings with one of Latino's daylight presets with one additional spotlight set to 50% and raytrace. Each render took about ten minutes. No post other than getting them onto one sheet for viewing. Crits and comments, tips and such welcomed of course! I'm 3/4 of the way done with him (FINALLY).

I would make the black ink color the "Traditional" known color when you think of tats and it would make a huge difference. - just a thought, looks good so far.

I think his morphs are excellent and well proportioned, the eyes maybe a little bright for my tastes....now the tats, superb designs, those i think are excellent, perhaps if you faded the opacity a bit on them and gave them a slight brown tinge they might not stand out so much.....however, gotta say..HURRY UP AND GET HIM FINISHED and in the rmp so we can all give him some life in our renders...please !!! . Great job

2121 has the same idea i had ... less opacity ... or perhaps try putting just a slight blur on the edges ... but he is magnificent! i wanna play with him! :D

XD I'm trying! I did manage to work the tats today in photoshop, so I'll be seeing how they come out in Studio and PP- then it's getting the files prepared and the product tested. I'm workin' on gettin' him out! Promise! Thank you very much for the input, too.

He looks great, the opacity and slight brownish suggestions are good ones for the tatts, I LOVE The designs on them. Extremely cool. Can't wait to get him :D
