Greetings all!
I have been a life-long artist since I could hold a pencil, and am a third generation artist to boot. However, I am struggling to re-gain my hold of my so-called talents; having to put aside my passion for a ten year hiatus. I work in oils, graphite pencils, colored pencils, watercolor, ink (pens and quills), calligraphy, oil pastels and acrylics. Portraits, fantasy creatures, landscapes...ect. I'm just, in the past six months, been working on adding to what I put to paper with the computer-and finding inspiration in quite a few artists that I've browsed through and contacted! Hopefully soon-there will be more for others to browse through in MY gallery. Cheers, and thank you for tripping through my artistic tulips!

http://darwinsmishap.redbubble.com/ I find it hard to believe that I've only been using Daz|Studio since just about September 12 '07.... Time has flown fast since I've gotten my hands dirty in this venue! Thank you everyone for the tips, hints, and comments in my gallery. All of them are greatly appreciated. I have recently begun the trek into C3DE (Now Carrara 8 Pro...I have Four freakin' versions of that program. Oi. ) and Bryce along with Hexagon 2.5; wish me luck! And now? Poser. Having fun with that one, yus. I admit my style tends to go from one angle to another like a psych patient; but it's one way I can get my mind to ease up on the creative juices a bit. I appreciate everyone's tolerance of such a thing! ;) Thanks to all my artistic friends here!

this look 100% better than the BLACK... I would like to see what it looks like with the Blue tone to it.... I have never seen on a 3D model "Stages" of tattoos... I think that would be an awesome seller in the marketplace... It would be so AWESOME, if somehow you could set the tat up throught the dials... when you first dial, it goes in stages like a drawing on the arm, the first stage of ink and then the final black outline..... another dial could add redness as if the tat was just done... the redness coul go from light to intense to infected. and then other dials cool be used for colors.... I've never seen anything like this out on the market - you could be a pioner... only thing I ask is you ship me a final files that I can use for the idea. I have a Character that I brougt to life named BONDAGE a few years back = I've always wanted tats of chains to use as tribal tats - so that an idea you could use as a starting point if you like. Hope this gets your imagination flowing - good luck with working on this if you choose to.

the tattoos look more natural now! very cool!!!

Great tats...only crit would be that the larger ones on the shoulders seem fuzzier than the others...not sure if this was intentional or if the sharpness was lost due to enlarging the drawing in the photo-editing software...other than that, they are very well designed and placed!

Thank you, everyone. The difference in the degree of blurring had been intentional to show the different "age" of the inked designs in a way. They were high-quality, very large pieces to begin with, so the downsizing wasn't an issue either. There was no quality lost in the original tats, it was all how I worked it in Photoshop prior to flattening the layers and rendering. :) I've been learning a lot while I've been off and away. grin
