My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Love it... And your title made me giggle! I will say no more. Hahaha.

This is a fantastic view of Da Bean, and I love the way it takes up so much of the frame. It does look a lot like a small alien spacecraft: which gives me a few ideas for something...um...odd. I've noticed that I have a fascination with the UFO phenomenon and I'm kinda itchy to do UFO-abduction damage! I mean, could you imagine if alien abduction scenarios had the Chip-twist applied to them? The little gray aliens would get thicker necks to support those heads, and they'd probably get names too! Yeah, this might go somewhere, and I have you and Da Bean to thank for that! And this is a gorgeous shot! I love the reflectivity and the nicely cinematic quality. For all of that reflection, it's impossible to spot the photographer. That's so snazzy geometry taking place and I love it. This shot is great and it's a record of an exceptionally nice day!

I really like this POV - as you say, unless you know what it is bit confusing. Yet again you have pulled out another view. Another tick confirming it's place on my bucket list! Thank you, Clive

Wonderful capture, Tara. The Bean is one reason why I play around with reflections and refractions - you can do so much

After having walked around and around the Bean...I am so pleased to see you have found yet another uncommon angle. Great eye. I have to add a Bean image to my gallery...but I have to find something novel which will be very hard to do. This must be the most photographed object in Chicago.

This is so cool, Tara! So how many mushrooms did you take? {:-0 Stellar creativity on this.

It's a giant fisheye lens! That's too cool, Tara! If I ever get to Chicago, I'll definitely have to pay a visit to the big shiny thing! LOL!
