Description

Deep trouble over the Channel coming back from a raid. At least the water will put out the flames. Had a lot of fun with the smoke and fire. Thanks for looking and I appreciate all your comments.

Good image. I do remember reading somewhere that there were only about 20 motor boats to search the entire south coast for RAF crew and most were picked up by trawlers, mechant or civil lifeboats. By comparison the Luftwaffe crew had flare pistols sea-dye and floating safety islands as well as Heinkel He 59 floatplanes.
